One of the last few businesses left with OUT OF THE WORLD service all around. The quality of service you get is phenomenal. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Even if you can find the same item on cheap tax evading amazon, buy here. Encourage businesses like this before they disappear please.

I came in to get a bike I bought used checked out. It’s the first road bike I’ve had so I’m still learning and Fred in the bike shop was so patient, kind, and helpful in teaching me about my bike, recommending adjustments and parts, and even places nearby to ride! Incredible customer service! I will definitely be bringing my bike back to be serviced here.

Mick and Ren were super helpful in helping us fix our son’s bike. They were professional, knowledgeable, and didn’t attempt to upscale us which we appreciated. I highly recommend this place!

They have a lot of stuff but everything is expensive. If you're looking for clothes, shoes or hiking boots I would try it on in the store then order it online cheaper. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you plan on shopping there regularly then the membership sounds like a good deal.

EXCEPTIONAL EXPERIENCE!!! This is the largest REI in the southeast, and it is clear why! The staff is extremely knowledgeable. Everyone is helpful. Most people don’t know that REI is a Co-Op. That means that REI is owned by its members. You only have to become a member once in your whole life, IT NEVER EXPIRES! They exist to create member value, not earn profits. Which means they offer free in-store classes, and close on Black Friday—just to get people outside. They’re also one of the last true values-driven companies. They have aspirational values that are worth participating in! The footwear department is top notch. If you think you know your foot, you’re wrong. Stop back and experience how it is supposed to be done. The camping department is incredible as well. How many places still have a genuine map table?! The staff actually hikes, and they know their gear. Get a pack fit done, you are likely not the size you think you are.
