a month agoMy experience today at REI was all about the sales associate who checked her handheld device to see if the pants I wanted in my size were available in the color I wanted. She disappeared into the back, looked and looked for 10 minutes (I think she was opening boxes) and found what I wanted. Excellent, full effort customer service!

3 months agoI am/was a loyal REI customer and spend a lot of $ on gear. However, my last two return experiences made me feel like I was being interrogated by the returns police. I was questioned extensively about why I was returning the gear and the staff helping me even brought up how people are now being banned from REI for too many returns, a not so subtle threat with a lot of masked judgement about my return. To say the least, I felt highly uncomfortable and will probably be seeking other outdoor gear stores to shop at.

3 months agoI went in planning to look at binoculars, without knowing much about what I was looking for. The greeter asked if she could help, and I told her what I was looking for. She didn't just point me to the binoculars... she went with me and explained in detail the differences between the binoculars. I tried them all out and she was helpful in figuring out what would work for me. Thanks!

7 years agoThis is my favorite REI out of all the ones in the Triangle. You can always get a parking space and there rarely ever a line. You can get your bike in and serviced the same day most of the time. The staff are friendly, helpful and talkative. It's hard not to buy something when you're here :-)

2 months agoThis is a great store. The people are adventurists at heart and know the equipment. They are kind and service oriented. I hope this store continues to serve our community
