5 months agoFirst visit to this theater was disappointing. While the theater is spacious, the screen was small, and the video quality was blurry. Sitting in the second-to-last row, the sound was too low to hear properly, and small lights remained on throughout, which was distracting. We ordered nachos and soda. Those were reasonably priced but had small portions. I am not sure if I would visit again.

5 months agoLast night’s experience was disappointing. We arrived 15 minutes early to a long concession line with only one person working the counter. We didn’t get served until ten minutes after the show was supposed to start, and they started the show fifteen minutes late. The theater, both inside and out, was a mess and unclean. The actual screen quality was blurry and the sound was quiet and not surround sound at all. I would not go back.

9 months agoI rarely go to movie theaters. The last time I saw a movie here was maybe over 10 years ago and remembered thinking - I am not watching a movie here again. This past week however, out of the blue, wife asked if I wanted to go watch a movie, it was $5 Tuesdays. I was pleasantly surprised that they have renovated the theater. Great picture and sound, very spacious seating, and the seats even recline. And there was only one other couple, it was like having your own private theater. I look forward to new movie releases and Tuesdays now. The only thing missing here is the ability to order food and snack/drink while watching.

8 months agoFive stars are not enough! This movie theater is designed with the feeling I like when you go to the movies. The sound system delivers authenticity that puts you in the middle of the scenes. The seat was comfortable and conveniently held my snacks.

5 years agoLoved the old Rheem Theatre for the nostalgia but it had gotten pretty shabby over the years. The remodel under new ownership is amazing! They did a perfect job of blending the traditional with modern and their comfortable leather recliners, classy looking interior, huge screens and amazing sound make the Rheem Theatre our new #1 go-to place for movies. Will always look to see what's playing there first going forward.
