7 months agoRiverview Park offers amazing views and peaceful spots to relax, with plenty of trails and pavilions nestled into the woods. It’s a nice place to escape to in the city. The scenery is nice but not breathtaking. It’s a good place for a quiet day outdoors. Do note that you cannot see the river from the park very well as the title may suggest. However, be cautious if visiting closer to sunset, as there are sometimes suspicious vehicles and people around. Additionally, the roads in the park are in rough shape—bumpy and poorly maintained. In some spots, the road even looks like it’s falling off the cliff, so drive carefully. In regard to the other city parks, Schenley, Frick, and Highland Parks are all better in my eyes.

2 years agoWow was a beautiful place. We took our pup here for the dog park and was surprised how clean and quiet it was. The dog park had two areas, one for smaller pups and one for bigger ones. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. Great spot for a weekend hangout with the pup.

3 years agoI have been going to Riverview Park since I was a child. Now I frequently ride thru to see the scenery and decompress while I listen to music. Venturing off into the woods is always relaxing too!
