a month agoThe staff absolutely killed it during our stay. Every single one of them cared that all the guests were having a good stay. The mattresses were a bit on the rough side which is why I couldn't max out stars for the room. However, it was clean, had plenty of space for 6 (4 adults, 2 kids) bunk beds were an awesome option. Awesome variety of winter activities that even a 2 year old could enjoy. Ours skied, snow tubed, ice skated, rode a pony, and swam in all the pools. Solid dinner spread and plenty of extra activities throughout the day inside. We will be coming back.

3 weeks agoIt was a great place to visit for a few days. Everyone was so nice and there was no waiting for skiing, tubing or horse rides. It's clean and really pleasant. It's really geared toward under 12, but there's plenty to do even with older kids. The kosher food options are also really good. There are airline meals and they will double wrap kosher hamburgers, hot dogs, vegetables, sweet potatoes and other assorted things.

a week agoAbsolutely love Rocking Horse Ranch. We always have tons of fun. We have stayed in the summer and winter and both are great. There are so many activities to pick from to keep the kids happy all day. Rooms are clean and food is good. Fun and easy vacation.

a month agoBrought my kids here on a Friday, the week before Christmas. We live locally, and have always wanted to try it out. The nutcracker was being performed by local performers, which is primarily what prompted me to book for this particular evening. The kids had a great time here. The decorations were so beautifully executed. Activities included swimming (indoor and heated outdoor pools w/ small indoor play areas), laser tag, ice skating (small adequate rink), skiing (bunny slope sized), pony rides (if under age 7), horseback riding, snow tubing, as well as some indoor activities like trivia, karaoke, and shows. Jack the lodge cat was a sight for sore eyes. Everyone I ran into stated loving their experience here. I loved how the kids could come and go to activities easily, as everything was fairly close. I also appreciated not needing a room key to open exterior doors to the lodge. I was a little surprised to see a zebra in NY, and their animals seem well taken care of; if not a touch sad. I didn’t find much that interested me as an adult, aside from the use of the sauna. The food was my only personal dissatisfaction. I work in food healing, and found there was no real selection of foods that were nutrient dense. If you are someone who may be used to locally sourced quality ingredients; you may considering bringing some supplementation.

4 weeks agoWe found this place last year and was so impressed with all the facilities and the fun things to do being so close to the lodge. So we came back this year! You just can't get bored here. The grandkids love the ice skating game and snow tubing. But of course they also love the pool and jacuzzi areas. They have great shows every night for the kids and family. This Will be one of the awesome places that we take our Grands every year.
