Rocky River Reservation

A gorgeous reservation trail that's always pristine and well maintained, and sure to bring you calm and help soothe your soul. If you're up for a chill quiet walk alone, or with a group of friends or family, this is one of the best trails I've been on that really truly has a lot to offer. Is dog friendly too! Lots of little detours, with some bonfire and hangout areas strewn across the trails, and endless lookouts and picture opportunities as you move along your walk. Love the well maintained boardwalksand bridges, the stairs and high points that allow you to get a better footing if you just want to enjoy the outdoors and waterways. If you're up for a more authentic adventure then there are so many other paths that will satisfy. Be sure to check out the Center while you're there for some snacks or a trinket to remember your visit. Their indoor exhibits are pretty cool too. Would recommend.

I love taking my kids here to play inside or hit the trails outside. Very easy trails, I love that those steps have a piece off to the side so if needed you can stop while going up. My kids beg me to take them weekly

This place is amazing. I went on a star gazing hike last night. It was a perfect night n ppl were friendly. This place is a must see

Rocker River Reservation is a beautiful place to bring just about anyone to it's safe, scenic, and a perfect little getaway from the city. I've been here multiple times and without a doubt this place is amazing. Having a walk in nature, having a birthday party for your kid, even taking a date out to lunch. This place really is like no other, I love driving here and looking at the river just hits the spot. Would recommend to anyone wanting a breath of fresh air!

Awesome place for a walk/hike in nature. There are plenty of trails to explore. It’s definitely popular and you will walk by other people enjoying the park, but overall it never feels crowded. Great for either a short walk or even a few good hours of trail hiking.
