The Rogue Theatre offers presentations which allow the audience to think and learn as they interpret the art The Rogue is doing, while at the same time the troupe projects enthusiasm offering it to us. I love The Rogue! I have never stopped learning and enjoying as well as being challenged with their presentations (for more than 15 years)!

Great venue to see a play in a intimate environment that allows for engagement with performance. Highly recommend season tickets to make sure you don't miss any of the fantastic plays. The website provides details of the plays that enhance the experience of every play.

I've only attended my nephew's high school productions in this space, but I'm impressed by how they're using it, the concept, the vibe, and I fully intend to attend one of their productions in the fall. Then I'll feel qualified to provide a legitimate review. This one is mainly to get Google off my back. 😆

What to expect: this is a theater for lovers of the art of theater, who are willing to overlook that this isn't a big, glamorous production machine. For me, the big draws were having true voice (no microphones, which bother me because sound systems result in a delay between seeing the lips and hearing it) and seeing the three-piece orchestra there on the stage. There was a discussion offered after the show, which I could see would be a highlight for connecting and processing the message of the art. The con was most players had a half dozen roles, making it harder to follow. All this is based on a single visit to see Left hand of darkness, so may be different from other shows.
