3 months ago~mid_day SAT 18jan2025, ~mid-40s, cloudy, i went for a ~3 miles walkabout loop VUCM - Rose Park. Streets were mostly clean, and only a few people and dogs around; similarly too at Rose Park.

a month agoAs an (older) avid runner training for several Marathons, I’m Grateful for Thursday mornings (Feb/Mar 2025 and hopefully every month going forward) when the track is not booked by Belmont University or ‘kids camps’. I truly appreciate it! It’s nice to have one weekday morning open for the community to use the track! There have been months where none of the weekday mornings were open to the public.

2 years agoNot a lot of close parking, facility was clean and comfortable. Bring shade for day games good lights for night games. Field is due for new turf. Cool back drop of Nashville in left field.

5 months agoA park in the middle of the city (2 miles from downtown) that actually has everything you could want as far as sports and sport activities go. It's not just Rose Park. It's a sporting complex. Track and field (big ass soccer field), outdoor basketball hoops, couple baseball fields, jungle gym for kids. The only thing it's missing is a tennis court. Otherwise, you can play anything you want there. And then it also has a community center--Easley Community Center. Fully fitted with a weight room, a game center (pool, ping pong, foosball, etc), an indoor basketball gym, and I think in the summer there is a pool that opens up. All for public use. Best sports complex, park, and community center in Nashville.
