💡Pro Tips from Reviews
- →**Avoid Saturday Morning Toddler Classes:** If you prefer smaller groups, higher supervision, or a less chaotic environment, steer clear of these classes.
- →**Clarify Reservation Policy:** Do not assume drop-in availability, especially for popular classes, as the website may not be clear; confirm reservation requirements beforehand.
- →**No Parent Participation:** Be prepared for a strict 'hands-off' policy during classes; do not expect to assist your child on equipment.
- →**Consider Teaching Style:** If your child requires a gentle approach or you prefer involvement in their learning, the 'authoritarian' method might not be a good fit.
- →**Birthday Parties are a Strong Choice:** Highly recommended for 4-year-olds; plan to bring your own food and cake.
Things to Consider
- ⚠The Saturday morning toddler class is severely overcrowded, described as "absolutely jammed packed with parents and kids" (Review 1).
- ⚠Extremely low teacher-to-toddler ratio in Saturday morning classes (1 teacher for 30+ toddlers), leading to a lack of engagement, instruction, and supervision.
- ⚠Equipment, while abundant, may be better suited for older toddlers; younger toddlers might need frequent visits to adapt.
- ⚠The website's reservation process is unclear, potentially contributing to overcrowding due to unexpected drop-ins.
- ⚠Strict 'no parent participation' policy is enforced sternly and loudly, even when parents try to assist young children (e.g., a 3-year-old on a balance beam).
- ⚠Teaching methods are described as "very authoritarian" and may not be suitable for all families.
- ⚠The owner is unreceptive to feedback, dismissing concerns by highlighting the business's 30 years of success.
- ⚠A reviewer expressed concern regarding fire code compliance due to the extreme overcrowding in a class.

4 weeks agoWe were here for the Saturday morning toddler class, first and probably last time to be here. Pros: fantastic very large space, lots of gymnastic equipments, tho they look to be better for older toddlers, or if you take the younger ones here every weekend they will get accustomed to the equipments. Cons: despite it being such a large space, it was absolutely jammed packed with parents and kids. Probably because the Saturday morning class was the only one on schedule for toddler age. The space was absolutely crowding with bodies. While the teacher tried to engage all the kids, there is just no way 1 person (yes there was only 1 teacher) could manage 30+ toddlers running wild. My toddler did not engage or follow any of the teacher’s instruction as there were so many kids running and jumping round. That would’ve been fine if she was able just free style and climb on whatever equipment interested her, except the problem is there there were already many children waiting to use all the other equipment. We spent most of the time standing and observing only. I admit I was one of those who just showed up with no reservations (the website wasn’t clear), but I wish they would turn me away to limit the number of kids/people in this class. Honestly, with that many people inside the gym, I don’t even know if that’s up to fire code?

a year agoWe threw a party at Ruby’s tumbling for our four-year-old and his four-year-old friend. The party was spectacular. The instructions were to show up with food and cake, and they would take care of the rest. Gigi and her staff over delivered! The Facilities are bright and clean, and the kids left, exhausted and happy.

8 years agoRuby's is a great place to get your kids active, social, and limber! My son loved going there when he was just a munchkin. I have heard of many kids going for years and even training more seriously with Ruby for structured athletics.

2 years agoMy son and I showed up for a drop in without reserving a spot and were initially welcomed but when it came time for my 3 year old to do a more challenging obstacle course, he opted to use the bathroom with my help. As we came back to join the group, I tried to help him walk on a balance beam and was told very sternly and loudly that they don't welcome parent participation and that I was ruining the class (potentially it meant that the rhythm of the class and concentration was thrown off). I contacted the owner via their online portal and told her that I would not return. In response, I learned that she has been running a successful business for 30 years and does not need to be told how to run her gym (potentially meaning that she doesn't welcome any feedback). I don't agree with the motor leaning methods that they use. It is very authoritarian and it doesn't work for my family.

3 years agoHad my son's 4th B-day party there and it was perfect! Lots of stuff to keep the kids busy. Eating area and fridge in the back. We did two hours, in and out. Everyone was happy.
