2 weeks agoThis canyon is beautiful! Although AZ State Parks could add a free shuttle from overflow parking to visitor center and trailheads instead of charging $15. So, they get a 1 ⭐️We hiked Seven Falls where we encountered deer, a snake, and lots of people! Gorgeous weather today.

3 months agoSabino Canyon is absolutely stunning! The ride through the canyon was amazing, offering breathtaking views of the desert landscape and rugged mountains. The restrooms along the trail were clean and conveniently placed, which made the visit even better. Whether you’re up for a challenging walk or just want to take in the beautiful scenery, this place is perfect. The drive to get there was smooth, and once you arrive, the peaceful connection to nature is unmatched. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

3 weeks agoIt's an absolutely stunning place. We took the tram to the top and back down, stopping for an hour at stop 8 to swim in the shallow pools, which is simply an amazing experience. Saw some coatis run by as well. My only complaint is that the visitor center closed at 5pm which is when the last shuttle drops you back at the parking lot. So the very moment you'll want to get your souvenirs they are closed, preventing it. Seems like it limits the amount of money they can make. Staying open just 30 more minutes would probably help make more money to preserve the park. It was truly an amazing place to go nevertheless. I would absolutely love to return during the wet season!

2 months agoSabino Canyon is absolutely breathtaking! The stunning desert landscape, towering saguaro cacti, and flowing creek make it a must-visit destination for nature lovers. I first visited for the guided tram tour, which was a great way to learn about the area’s history and wildlife. Now, we hike here at least twice a week, and every visit feels like a new adventure. The trails are well-maintained, offering options for all skill levels, from easy scenic walks to more challenging hikes. It’s a safe and family-friendly place, with plenty of parking and well-marked paths. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful solo hike, a fun outing with friends and family, or even a romantic date, Sabino Canyon is the perfect spot. It’s also a paradise for photographers, with endless opportunities to capture the beauty of the Sonoran Desert. If you love the outdoors, this is a place you don’t want to miss. Pack a picnic, bring plenty of water, and enjoy the incredible views!

a month agoA desert paradise for both visitors and locals. In the early morning it’s popular for walkers and cyclist going up the 4 mile road. Beginning at 9 AM a tram takes you up to the end of the road. There are plenty of hiking trails with great views and a bit of climbing as well as trails along the river. Early morning is also good for birding.
