7 years agoNice museum for the sports fan, and especially for any baseball enthusiasts, along with local fans of the San Diego area.

7 years agoWas a great Museum. Most of the stuff has been moved to Petco Park and the rest of the museum pieces have been returned to their owners since the Hall of Champions is now closed. The Balboa Park location is now the San Diego Comic-Con Museum. Opening day TBD.

8 years agoI got there just a tad after they opened and they were not ready to be open. None of the tvs or interactive displays were working. I was one of two customers in the whole place (on a Monday morning). I don't live in San Diego and don't really care about San Diego sports so this place was of little interest. I didn't know it was just about San Diego sports so it was disappointing because I read that it is the largest multi sport museum (but they didn't have anything about basketball which is what I care about most) and the average time spent here is 3.5 hrs according to Google. I was done after half and hour and even that was after dragging it out.
