a month agoFor my birthday this year, I decided to try something different and booked a Squid Game VR experience at Sandbox VR Indianapolis with my friends. From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere was electric, and the staff made sure we were geared up with VR headsets, haptic vests, and motion trackers to fully immerse ourselves in the game. As soon as the experience started, we found ourselves inside the Squid Game universe, facing intense challenges like Red Light, Green Light and Glass Bridge. The tension was real—every movement mattered, and the haptic feedback made it feel like we were truly there. It was thrilling, competitive, and insanely fun, with all of us yelling, laughing, and strategizing to survive each round. What made the experience even better was how incredibly realistic and immersive it felt. The graphics, the eerie music, and even the way the environment reacted to our movements were all top-notch. We were constantly on edge, trying to outlast each other while also working as a team when needed. By the end, we were out of breath but completely exhilarated. The birthday surprise came when the staff played back highlights of our session, letting us relive our funniest and most intense moments. It was hands down one of the best birthdays I’ve ever had, and I’d highly recommend Sandbox VR Indianapolis to anyone looking for a thrilling and unforgettable experience!

4 months agoI'm a seasoned VR user and this was a slam-dunk fun way to spend some time with family and friends. The gear was comfortable and felt similar in visual quality to a Quest 2. My only hardware complaint was that there was no on-headset volume control, and if you want your volume adjusted you have to call out to the attendant. The game itself lasted about 30 minutes. On one hand, it goes by fast. On the other hand, 30-45 minutes is about all the time it takes for the average adult to start getting a bit of a headache from VR. The fact that they provide some auto-generated video clips from your visit that you can download and share is a great feature, even just from a free publicity perspective. Our host, Markus, was great. Attentive but not intrusive, and helped us out with any questions.

2 months agoBooked this as a birthday event for my 13 year old nephew. I’m 47 and have never really done VR other than my son’s Occulus. I was concerned I’d be ill or get a migraine. Thankfully, neither happened! The 3 boys and I had a BLAST! If , you book this online: You can pick a different game when you get there, they do only accept credit card, not great seating in the waiting area when they are busy. Overall, I do give the 5 star. Those fans in the room are very necessary!!
