2 weeks agoIt is an absolutely fantastic place with very picturesque views. The ride itself was only 15 minutes, but their trails are amazing. All the staff was very welcoming and polite, too! This park is huge with numerous trail options. It is worth visiting it for anyone. I regret coming here later in the afternoon and only spending about 4 hours due to the park getting dark. As many folks noted in the reviews, the views are spectacular! My recommendations to all visitors: 1. Please make sure to bring warm jackets and great hiking boots. It gets cold and icy in some areas and the winds are strong and cold. 2. Ensure to purchase tickets online in advance.

3 weeks agoVisiting the Sandia Peak Tramway was an unforgettable experience! The ride itself is smooth and offers absolutely breathtaking panoramic views of the Sandia Mountains and the Rio Grande Valley. As you ascend over 10,000 feet, the landscape transforms dramatically — from desert terrain to lush forested areas near the peak. At the top, the view is spectacular, especially during sunset when the sky turns incredible shades of orange, pink, and purple. There’s a nice observation deck and a couple of trails for those who want to explore further. It’s also a great spot for photos and soaking in the crisp mountain air. The tram operators were friendly and knowledgeable, sharing interesting facts about the area’s geography and wildlife. There’s also a restaurant at the summit, which makes for a lovely spot to relax with a drink or a meal while taking in the scenery. Highly recommend this for anyone visiting Albuquerque — it’s a unique, peaceful, and beautiful experience you won’t want to miss.

a month agoI was visiting my son and this was a great adventure for us. We were just in for a huge surprise though when we got to the top and there was snow! I loved the experience and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. I thought it would be more like just me and my kids and several small little cars, but it was a lot of us in the tram. Still, a beautiful experience.

a week agoIt was beautiful. Worth the time. We did a hike along the ridge and got some great shots. The staff was great and we really enjoyed it. We are visiting from Texas and this was very interesting.

2 weeks agoThis was the most beautiful tram (the only one) I've ever been on. We booked our tickets online and when we arrived there was not a very long wait to get on the tram. The workers were very knowledgeable and helpful about our experience. I would recommend this to anyone who loves to be outdoors
