Sandy Days Kids Camp

My camp name is Bacon! I started working at Sandy Day’s Kids Camp over 15 years ago. Participating in the growth of a community that fosters play, relationships and enjoyment of our environment has been such a JOY. Hands down the best beach camp in town! My favorite memories are when I would return to camp after years of working at other jobs and a counselor would run up to me and I would be in shock because the last time I had seen them was when they were a camper. Truly a blessing to be remembered and seeing the kids grow up to do what I love to do most, have fun on the beach and PLAY! 💜✨

I worked at Sandy Days as a camp counselor for a week in the summer of 2024 as a last-minute opportunity, and it was an incredible experience. This camp really offers something for every kid, from exciting water activities and sports to arts and crafts and obstacle course competitions. Sina, the camp director, and the entire staff are incredibly kind and genuinely dedicated to making the camp as fun and positive as possible. There's a great balance between structure and freedom, allowing kids to choose activities that interest them while still maintaining organization. If I had kids, I would absolutely send them to Sandy Days since every camper I've had here really seems to love it.

Sandy Days is such a magical experience for the kids. Each day they get to spend all day at the beach, doing all sorts of fun activities like boogie boarding, capture the flag, talent shows and so much more!! Each day is new and exciting for the kids and the staff is amazing!! The staff are always so friendly, and they excel at their jobs!! If you’re ever wondering which summer camp to choose, Sandy Days is #1 by far!!!

Magical place. My son has been going to Sandy Days for years and loves it. There's a "carefree summer" vibe here that you don't quite get at other camps. Feels almost like a throwback. The counselors seem like they actually enjoy their jobs. They don't force activities on anyone. The kids get to rule the roost a bit. At the same time it doesn't feel unsafe. I've watched them go out on their boards, and you can tell the counselors know what they're doing. We're grateful to have found this camp!

Sandy Days has provided a safe and healthy environment for my grandson for the past four years. His growth and maturity are in large part due to the relationships and way he has been treated at Sandy Camp. The counselors let kids be kids and at the same time hold them accountable when needed. I would recommend Sandy Days to anyone and everyone seeking a meaningful and fun camp experience for their kids.
