2 weeks agoGreat place for nature walking and bird viewing. Wide, we'll kept trails, picnic areas and fishing spots. Come early April to see the Blue Bells bloom

2 months agoAlthough I didn't go canoeing or kayaking, this is a great place to start hiking the River Trail and take the trail south.

a year agoA great place to put in or take out. Plenty of parking. If the gate is shut. There is a bit of a hike from the lot to the river. From the Greenlawn dam to Scioto Grove you can get a nice 61/2 mile paddle in.

9 months agoThis could be a nice access point. There is a well maintained driving path from the parking area down hill and through the woods to the river , but the bank is very steep and deep , with large boulders at the bottom. If you cannot easily carry or drag your kayak/canoe you will have a ton of trouble. I would like to find a decent launch in the scioto in this area to head north from.

a year agoGreat place to walk with your dog in relative shade but the river. I have seen ppl putting in there kayaks and there is a good place to get it and a turn around if you want to take your car down to the put in. It's nice in cool on hot summer days, no bathroom at the put in.
