2 months agoWe went to the Valentine's showing at 8pm and it was amazing... it was sold out but even it was comfortable. The chairs are very comfortable. Michelle was our host and she taught us a lot about different stars and planets. For one the Sun is our biggest planet. She was very informative and patient with our questions. The dome with full of shooting star hearts! So pretty. And I got to even make friends. The parking was right across the street on campus so no walking across busy San Antonio streets and it was free. No doubt I love to go again...

2 years agoThis is a great experience for children and adults. They have different shows at different times even some for adults. Tickets go one sale 30 minutes before the show and you have to be there on person to buy them. Adults $5, Children & teachers with an ID $4. Amazing view of the stares and galaxy. It’s a fun activity to do with or without children especially during the summer when it’s too hot out side.

7 months agoHad a wonderful experience visiting the planetarium. The staff was amazing. This was a family friendly experience. Don’t miss this San Antonio gem. Highly recommend. As a bonus we got to see Saturn 🪐 on telescope set up by the San Antonio Astronomical Association volunteers.
