a month agoI love this space. And I can only imagine the architect having the vision of walking up to it with Greenlake behind it. Awesome group of people running it and putting on plays!

4 months agoWe visited this theater last week to see a hilarious Christmas musical called Very Diehard Christmas. This was my first time at this venue, as I’ve only been to Fifth Avenue and the Paramount before. While this is definitely a smaller, low-budget theater (the stage is tiny, and the props include children’s toys), that doesn’t make it any less enjoyable. The singing and acting were just as impressive as what you’d find in larger theaters! That said, there was one thing that caught us off guard: during the show, they shot Nerf guns and squirted water guns at the crowd. It would’ve been nice to have a heads-up about this when purchasing tickets. Luckily, we were in Row B and didn’t get hit, but the front rows (and the surrounding 180-degree area) were sprayed multiple times. Most people laughed it off, but I can see how it could be frustrating if you weren’t expecting it. Overall, this is a super fun group of performers, and I’d definitely come back. At just $10 a ticket, it was absolutely worth it!

4 months agoAdorable theater in the park, with good productions. We saw 'A Very Die Hard Christmas' which was amazing and fun. The theater is small and works well for the shows they do. Highly recommend!

4 months agoPlease don't tell anyone else how great this theater is. I mean, you should check out the calendar and find performances that tickle your fancy. You should create new traditions, and okay, bring a few friends, but don't spread the word too widely because I still want to be able to get tickets!

2 years agoA great 'intimate' theatre that gets you up close and personal to the action! Went to see 'A Very Die Hard Xmas' (Yes, Die Hard is a Christmas Movie!) and it was a blast, excellent show and definitely recommend grabbing tickets if you can next year. I have included a picture of the layout, we were seated in the second row from the front on the left of the stage as you look at it, the 1st two seats in the row just for reference. They do require masks to be worn though and the parking isn't well lit with lots of standing water (it is Seattle!) so things to consider when choosing your viewing time etc..
