2 years agoMy daughter started her first class at Seattle Rhythmic when she was four and half years old. Now she is 9 years old. Coach Hitomi is engaging with kids and well experienced. Looking back after 5 years with SRG, I noticed so many benefits of exercising with gymnastic such as beautifully sculpted body, improved dance alliance with different types of music and finally good memory due to numbers of exercise steps. We all know that constant exercise helps with the one’s immune system too.

4 years agoHitomi is the best coach my daughter has ever had. She is responsible and professional. She knows every girl's strengths and weaknesses, based on which she provides best suggestions to help the gymnast improve her skills quickly. I especially appreciate that during the online practices, SRG provides a variety of choices for the gymnasts, including ballet, line dance, jumping, apparatus handling, and basic strength and stretch trainings (and free group and private lessons!), in different languages and time slots.

4 years agoHitomi is amazing and my daughter has made so much progress under her guidance, not just in gymnastics but also in confidence and teamwork. We appreciate so much the effort SRG has put in to keep things going during Covid, even adding special online lessons and events. It has done a lot to maintain a sense of normalcy during this crazy time.

5 years agoour two girls are more than fortunate to have this amazing activity in their lives as part of the SRG. they are part of a team and take pride in it. coach hitomi is absolutely respectful of the individual abilities of each child and makes sure to bring the most out of them. we don't see this attitude from all other coaches and we are blessed to have her in their lives. moreover, the assistant coaches, josie and sasha are extensions of her personality and style. the special coaches for ballet, dance, yoga, pilates likewise are are all exceptional and cross-train the girls (plus one boy!) to harness as much skill without pushing limits to the point of injury. the proof of course is in the results. she routinely has winners in every category with the most experienced students competing at national and international levels and at a few meets swept the podium! the SRG community collectively (parents and coahces) have ensured not only athleticism and dedication to this sport in the children but there is a clear spillover effect in that children are uniformly bright and over-achieving in school, music, etc. in short SRG has brought out the best in the children and the families involved and is a testament to coach hitomi's leadership on and off the training mat. i would highly recommend this activity and SRG to any parent and child.

4 years agoMy daughters have been learning so much from SRG last few years. They love international coaches and their lessons online even during this crazy covid quarantine time.
