💡Pro Tips from Reviews

  • If planning to use the covered pavilion for a large picnic or event, be aware it might be reserved; consider confirming availability or arriving early to secure a spot to avoid disruption.
  • Bring a change of clothes if children intend to play in the stream, as it's a popular splashing spot.
  • Utilize the working water fountain for convenient hydration throughout your visit.

Things to Consider

Play equipment includes a toddler playground, swingset, and a playset for older, taller kids. There's also a covered pavilion with tables, wide open spaces under the trees to run around in, a trench with rocks that attracts the more adventurous kids. This park also has, and I cannot stress this enough, a *working* outdoor water fountain (as of late June 2018)! Fun spot to hang out and run around for the whole family.

Lovely spot for a picnic. Quite clean and comfortable under the covered picnic tables. We had to move due to a reservation at the spot though. A sign saying it is reserved might have been a good idea since our large picnic had to move in the middle since they reservation wanted to set up.
