Shelby Farms Park

Nice, we were staying in Memphis and looking for something else to do after getting into Sun Studios in the morning. It was about 30 mins from downtown memphis. We hired bikes for an hour and cycled around the lake for $28, then stopped for a bite in the cafe. Saw some lovely birds.

The best park EVER!! 😍😍😍 I grew up coming to this park. I’ve walked many of the trails over the years, 5k races, the dog park, birthday parties, the playground, movie nights, you name it. I will always spend as much time here as possible. The grounds are always so well taken care of and I love how many trails there are for you to choose from.

Shelby Farms is a beautiful park. I love going on the walking trail around the lake. It's about 2.3 miles around. There's space for bikers, runners and walkers. You can also rent bikes and canoes as well. Some days, there are food trucks out there, usually on the weekends. It's very family friendly as well. I have yet to explore every part of Shelby Farms, but I definitely recommend going.

4000 plus acres of of nature in the city lakes, rivers, fields great spot for sunsets and rises, horseback riding, a herd of buffaloes and more.
