Great place in the area to take the kids to get some relief from the heat for free. They have an area for parties and lots of seating. The splash pad is great and they have lots of area to bring your furry family too. If you need to wash them they have a machine to give them a shower right next to the dog entrance. This park is great to work out, take a walk and enjoy the scenery. My family and I will be back for fall.

♿️ As long as you stay where there is sidewalk, you will be ok. Accidentally looked at the trail map wrong and ended up on a service road. 😄 But, it was ok and I found my way back. I am pretty sure this one is still being worked on. The splash pad looked amazing and after my hike, I so wanted to just play in the water. I do not have many photos of the splash pad bc it was busy and I do not like taking photos of other people's children without permission. There is a covered area with tables for the adults, so you are not just roasting in the sun. The restrooms are on the opposite side of the building. They are ♿️ accessible, but hot! There is no air flow in there at all. They had pickball courts down below all of this and tennis. There was a huge fenced in dog park even with a time out area for dogs that got a little extra rowdy and excited. I also noticed there is a dog wash here. You know the glass boxes that keep popping up everywhere? Well, there is one here. Once you pass that, the pavement ends and there is a fairly steep incline with giant ruts where the water has run down the dirt and gravel after the rain. I made it down. Yay! But, coming back up, I realized I was walking right where the kids were playing at the splash pad. Awkward. Honestly, it's my fault for reading the trail map wrong. There are some beautiful natural views here right now. I suggest taking a stroll earlier in the morning, so it is not as muggy and hot. You can see the trees in the distance on the mountain and it is a lovely view. I cannot wait to see what they do with this park and trail system. There will also be disc golf. I found a few of the goals that the trees are starting to grow up around, so I know they are not finished with this park. There were 5 handicap spaces together and it eased downward towards the splashpad and where the trails will begin. There were 3 different ones that I could see and each a little longer with more difficulty. I took the second one with slight hills, both down and up. The third would have had more distance but less difficult or less steep of hill to climb back up. Someone has all ready thrown something (a rock maybe?) into the trail map sign and broken it and this is a pretty new park. I will come back another time and edit my review. I'm just trying to cover as many parks as possible and the accessibility for those with mobility issues that want to remain active.

Love the obstacle course and its location near the splash pad!! My kids were able to enjoy both with me being able to see them all at the same time. Ideal location away from traffic! We will be visiting this park on our trips back and forth to the children’s hospital. It’s such a nice break from all the clinical parts of our visits.

Wonderful scenery with a splash pad tucked away. Lots of parking in a gravel lot, with a short walk down to the pad. Shaded benches to cool off and put your stuff. Beautiful area all around.

Pretty spot and would have been fun but unfortunately even though they advertise the splash pad hours as "9 AM to Dusk" - be warned, the splash pad cuts off and stops working at 5 PM sharp. Two other families were also pretty disappointed because this time of year, dusk is at around 7 pm, so we thought we were good. If the hours for the Splash Pad are 9-5, it should just advertise that. Even on the splash pad rules posted by the area, it says "9 AM- dusk," leaving the closing time pretty vague, and our daughter was really disappointed. I don't really write negative reviews, but upsetting my daughter is a good way to get one 🫠.
