JULY 1st, 2021: Open fully, so don't have to reserve/pay online. Rates increased 50¢ or so on July 1 - can pay at pool. Still limited to 2 hour sessions. Sierra Vista is a beautiful outdoor pool with large, shady grass areas and 4 benches. Has 2 lap lanes, 2 spiral slides, a separate kiddie pool. Is one of most popular, so gets crowded. There are other pools east of river that have large , shaded grass areas and benches, like Sunport near airport, and popular Rio Grande next to Biopark. Women's restroom is small, with only 2 toilet stalls, 2 curtained showers if want privacy for changing clothes. Must shower before swimming, of course. Handicap accessible. More info about all pools online via play.cabq.gov .

The pool itself is so nice. 2 water slides, big baby pool, large shaded grassy area for everyone to sit. The cons: They make you leave and pay to come back every two hours. We came and paid with 15 minutes left of one session. We paid full price, had to leave for 15 minutes and then repay to enter. Wouldn’t have been so bad if the lifeguards had used this time to clean up, but the bathrooms were so disgusting we couldn’t even use them. Like, so bad. There were 5 employees in the bathhouse on the computer the whole time we were there. The lifeguards who were working were rude, and wanted us to be within arms reach of our children at all times. I was a lifeguard for 10 years, so I know what the expectation is, or at least was. We did not have a great time here, although it has the potential to be a great pool. Management needs work.

Big shade trees here, so there's enough shade for everyone. Two large slides, a couple of swim lanes and a tiny tot pool. This pool has two hour blocks of swimming sessions. Price is affordable and well worth it

We have been going here for swim lessons for 3 years now. The instructors have been great and work well with little kids. My son loves to swim and be in the water. This place and the people are the reason!

He took money from people and didn’t finish the job. He should lose his license!
