Disappointed overall. Alot of the water park attractions were closed while we were there which made other rides overcrowded. Lazy river was nice, but the rocks were dangerous and made it hard to relax. The slide lines were so slow (when they were actually open). There was nowhere to sit as most people dropped their towels on chairs and left so for those of us who actually needed to sit, it was impossible. The lifeguards and staff were great! Room was fine yet outdated and TV had signal issues most of the trip. Arcade was good and kept kids entertained. Needs more non-water park activities. Definately overpriced for what it was. We didn't eat there although the food choices looked good ....lots of restaurants close by.

We recently spent the night at the Great Escape Lodge and I wanted to share some candid thoughts. First, the positives. The waterpark was great for kids under 12 and small enough that they could roam yet still be within sight. The waterpark was clean, very safe and overall a positive experience. The staff and lifeguards were great and it felt very safe and was a lot of fun. The dining options were also pretty good, especially the newer restaurant downstairs. The location is great as well. We spent the night here and the hotel itself needs A LOT of work. We stayed in the cabin bunk suite which again, appealed to the kids, but was in very bad shape. The carpets, though updated, were very stained and dirty, the lamps were dusty, the bedding and mattresses tired, the furniture extremely old and filthy and the curtains very outdated. It appears that they have done some renovations as the bathroom was in good shape and clean, but the rest of the room felt like it was 30 years old. I would not stay here again. The cleanliness of the room left something to be desired that is for sure. Overall, my kids had a lot of fun, but the rooms really need some work. This place has a lot of potential with its ideal location and waterpark, but the hotel ownership group really needs to invest in their property.

We went over spring break with 2 children and had such a blast. Staying at the lodge made it easy so we could go back and forth throughout the day from our room to water park. The water park was so much fun for all. There were many things going on around the lodge to keep the kids busy. It is centrally located so you're a quick drive to mini golf, shopping at outlets or running to a store. We will be back for sure.

Our experience was terrible to say the least. We had elected prior to the trip to add an additional night so the kids had extra playtime. When we got there, the room was disgustingly dirty and outdated even though it was supposedly “renovated”. The floor had dirt and garbage all over, the bed was extremely uncomfortable and old, linens stained. We complained and actually wanted to leave, but they were not able to give us a concrete answer on if we could get our money back because the managers “aren’t on site” and it would “be potentially up to a week before they were even able to get a response back from them”. We ended up switching to a different room because we didn’t want to lose our money. This room was cleaner, but so incredibly loud that my children were actually terrified with the noise. They asked repeatedly to go home. They liked the waterpark, but not enough to warrant a whole trip. All of this being said, I will never take them there again. The stay was incredibly expensive, ridiculously so— not worth it in my opinion. You could go somewhere much nicer and have a better experience for the same price. We still haven’t heard anything from management either and I highly doubt we will.

Visited the indoor water park today. For the money you pay to get into it I'm sadly going to say it does not measure up. It's small and only had one functioning water slide ( well,....one slide and the surfing attraction). Essentially the main water attraction there is the lazy river for most if you don't want to wait an hour in line to go down the one slide. Kids had a fairly good time but there are only so many times you want to go around on a lazy river.
