Detailed Insights

Sky Zone offers an environment where children and young adults can genuinely have an energetic and fun experience for hours, providing a strong draw for active families.

Key Highlights

  • Children consistently have a blast for hours, enjoying the core trampoline park activities (Review 1, 3)
  • The core concept of Sky Zone is generally great for kids, providing an amazing and enjoyable time (Review 2, 3)

Standout Features

  • The trampoline and jumping activities themselves provide a highly engaging and 'blast for hours' experience for children (Review 1, 3)
  • The overall concept of a trampoline park is perceived as 'great for kids' (Review 2)

Perfect For

Generally good for a broad range of kids, from younger children (daughters, granddaughters) to young adults (brothers) who can spend hours playing (Review 1, 3, 5)

Ideal For

Energetic children needing to burn off energy for extended periods (Review 1, 3)
Families looking for an active indoor activity (Review 1, 3)

💡Pro Tips from Reviews

  • Be highly vigilant during membership sales; confirm all details and consent to avoid being charged without your agreement (Review 2)
  • If considering a membership, be prepared for a potentially very difficult cancellation process; meticulously double-check status and confirm all associated names/members are explicitly mentioned during cancellation to prevent continued billing (Review 3, 5)
  • If you have sensory sensitivities or are prone to headaches, be aware of a potentially overwhelming air freshener scent (Review 5)
  • Parents should actively supervise their children due to reported insufficient staff supervision and instances of bullying (Review 5)
  • Consider bringing your own water due to concerns about the unmaintained water dispenser (Review 1)
  • If purchasing passes, explicitly clarify the rules for assigning and using passes for all children to avoid denial of entry (Review 4)

Things to Consider

  • Poor facility maintenance, specifically disintegrating foam blocks releasing plastic dust which can get into children's eyes and lungs (Review 1)
  • Unmaintained water dispenser with a blinking 'change filter' indicator that was covered with duct tape instead of being addressed, raising hygiene concerns (Review 1)
  • Aggressive and problematic membership sales tactics, including instances where memberships were sold and charged without customer consent (Review 2)
  • General uncleanliness of facilities and bathrooms, with bathrooms specifically noted as needing regular cleaning (Review 2)
  • Lack of clear or consistent separation between adult and children's areas, raising safety concerns during certain times (Review 2)
  • Extremely difficult and frustrating membership cancellation process, involving multiple attempts (phone calls, in-person visits) and continued billing for months after cancellation confirmation (Review 3, 5)
  • Issues with membership passes being improperly assigned or verified, leading to denial of entry for children and an inability to use purchased passes (Review 4)
  • Allegations of racial profiling by staff towards Hispanic children when attempting to use passes, while white children had no issues (Review 4)
  • Overwhelming air freshener scent throughout the venue, which caused headaches for some visitors (Review 5)
  • Insufficient supervision of participants by staff, leading to instances of bullying (kids throwing things, pushing) (Review 5)

Price & Value

Memberships and season passes are heavily promoted and sold. There are significant concerns about being charged for memberships without consent and continued billing post-cancellation, leading to unexpected and unwanted costs. No specific upfront pricing for daily entry was mentioned, but the value of memberships is undermined by billing issues and difficulties in cancellation (Review 2, 3, 4).

Accessibility & Special Needs

  • No specific positive accessibility accommodations mentioned. However, an overwhelming air freshener scent could be a negative accessibility factor for individuals with scent sensitivities or respiratory issues (Review 5).

🍎Food & Drink Policy

  • A water dispenser is available, but its maintenance is questionable (Review 1). No other specific food or drink policies mentioned.

🚗Parking Info

  • No parking information provided in the reviews.

👥Crowd Levels

  • Concerns about poor separation between adult and children's areas 'at certain times' suggest it can get busy, but no specific crowd times are provided (Review 2).

🛡️Safety Features

  • Concerns about safety due to disintegrating foam blocks releasing plastic dust (Review 1).
  • Concerns about general cleanliness and dirty bathrooms affecting hygiene and safety (Review 2).
  • Concerns regarding insufficient separation between adult and children's areas (Review 2).
  • Major concerns about inadequate staff supervision leading to bullying (throwing objects, pushing) among participants (Review 5).

When to Avoid

  • If you are sensitive to strong artificial scents or prone to headaches (Review 5)
  • If you prioritize strict cleanliness and high standards of facility maintenance (Review 1, 2)
  • If you are unwilling to deal with potentially aggressive sales tactics or a highly problematic membership management/cancellation system (Review 2, 3, 5)
  • If your children require constant and active staff supervision to ensure their safety from bullying (Review 5)
  • If you have concerns about racial profiling by staff or a flawed pass verification system (Review 4)

I love coming to this place. My daughter and I have a blast for hours. However, this place really need to maintain things better. The foam blocks are coming apart and plastic dust gets in My daughter's eyes and lungs. The water dispenser has had a change filter indicator blinking for months. And now, instead of changing the filter they have covered up the indicator with a piece of duct tape. That's just wrong. Just change the filter! Or at least let people know they're using a filter that isn't properly maintained.

This place is great for kids, but there are a few issues that need to be addressed. One major concern is the constant push to sell memberships, which we are not interested in. Unfortunately, I was sold a membership without my consent and later discovered that I was charged for it. Additionally, the facilities are not clean, and there should be better separation between the adult and children's areas at certain times. Safety is also a concern, and the bathrooms require regular cleaning. These are important issues that need attention.

I want to start by saying that Sky Zone itself is a great place. My brothers and I had an amazing time this summer, which is why I initially signed up for a membership. However, I’m extremely frustrated with the way my membership cancellation has been handled. I tried to cancel my membership over the phone in September, because I was unable to access my account online. When I spoke to a representative, I was assured that my membership was canceled and that I would no longer be charged monthly payments. Despite this, I have continued to see charges on my account for several months now. I’ve reached out again and had been told that I no longer have an active membership and should not be paying anything—but the charges keep coming. This situation has been incredibly frustrating, and I feel like I’m being ignored and misled. Sky Zone is a fun and enjoyable place, but this kind of poor management and billing issue needs to be addressed. I hope this review leads to a solution. (Edited) they graciously stopping the charges moving forward. However, this does not address the four charges made to my account after I canceled my membership on 8/13/24. Which after contacting this email given, you admitted. What kind of business claims that errors—if they occur—are at the cost of the customer’s own money? This situation is unacceptable, and I expect a full refund for the charges made after my cancellation date. Please let me know how this will be resolved. (Edit2) I didn't get a refund, but I did get credit. So, I guess we are good. I will add starts just because I'm glad the issues were addressed, and I was apologized to. I will say this though, when getting a membership and you need to cancel double check it and make sure you say all the full names names/people who are in the membership with yours. Thank you.

Update: Skyzone contacted me and promised to resolve the issue with my membership, but unfortunately, nothing was done. I hope they strive for better customer service and address serious concerns rather than avoiding them. I'm disappointed with how they have handled this delicate situation. I recently purchased two season passes, which were registered under my name as an adult. When I brought my kids along with their Hispanic friends, they were not allowed to use the passes. I was informed that the passes were already assigned, but initially, I was told they would remain under my name. As a result, we were unable to use the passes. This experience felt like racial profiling, as the Hispanic children were questioned while the white children who accompanied me previously had no issues. The staff should be trained not to profile individuals. Moreover, if memberships are assigned to specific people, why aren't photos taken to verify identities? This flawed system exposes the company to liability when profiling young children.

My granddaughter has enjoyed her experience for the most part. For me, It has a really overwhelming scent of air freshener that causes headaches. Participants are not supervised well enough. My granddaughter experienced some bullying with kids throwing things and pushing.. Also, it’s VERY difficult to cancel membership. After multiple attempts to call to cancel and always getting voicemail message and no return call I had to make a special trip across town to cancel in person.
