Turn Down for What NYC
a month agoOur group had the BEST time here! We’re a social club for adults with Down syndrome 21+ and felt SO welcomed even though the crowd was mostly families with young children. The beading room was a huge it along with the star shaped ball pit. We also loved all of the different sensory walls and the fact that every inch of the space was so intentionally designed. Will definitely be back with a larger crew very soon!

5 months agoJust came for our first time it was packed and chaotic (rainy day) but still a huge win for us!! My kids (3 & 5) had a blast and I think they were the ideal age. Great design of all the play spaces. Here are the highlights cuz this is what I’d like to know: -parking lot right outside and space to park bikes inside -lots of lockers -clean spacious restrooms -free socks -tables to eat lunch brought from home -snacks to purchase -staff was super helpful and easy to find -you get a little “prize” on your way out to help kids who hate leaving!! Genius

a month agoWhat a place that is truly outta this world! Space Club is a great place that is better than your local play gym; this play is not only HUGE, but offers a quiet corner and spaces for overly sensory stimulated children. This place puts kids first in cleanliness, good lighting, staff available on the floor, and quality place spaces. Came here solely based on the recommendation for a play date with a friend, and it worked out well! Upon checking in, we were given free socks for our indoor play experience, and my son RAN inside, heeding little to my yells to wait up for me. The pink obstacle course and the room filled with foam blocks was the highlight of the experience for my son. Children of all ages were running, laughing, squealing, jumping, and playing. The parents also seems to enjoy the space just as much with chilling in the quiet corners, or opting to have a snack and hydrate at the tables and benches stationed at the front of the establishment. Two birthday parties were being held at the same time during our visit, and they had little to no impact on how we enjoyed our stay. The place is very well cared for, and I will more than likely be looking into a membership, since my boy was exhausted after 2+ hours of play, but insisted we come back tomorrow. Worth visiting and coming out of your way for!

11 months agoThis was a savior for a cold windy day in winter when we needed to get the kids out of the house! Age range 18mo to 6y all had a blast for over 1.5hrs. No conflicts. Felt clean. All parents and kids were friendly and respectful. Even a quiet area. Made it so parents can accompany the kids in the climbing area and bounce house. Will return!

7 months agoVery clean, calm, visually uncluttered, and tons of fun! My 3 and 6 year olds both loved it. Great for my neurodiverse older son who usually has a tough time at these places. They have some sensory rooms that are also nice for a little break. I called to ask about how accommodating they are to neurodivergent kids before going and the person who I spoke with was wonderful and made me comfortable with planning our trip there.
