Huge great place to take the kids especially in the winter. The only problem I encountered was I didn’t know I had to buy a ticket before I walked all the way down to splash country so buy your tickets online or go upfront first.. and also they have no baby changing stations so either bring your little undressed to make it easier or prepare to put a towel down and change them on a chair or bench…. The people who own this company are some of the best people I’ve known my whole life.

For the price it's kinda sub par as far as cleanliness and upkeep. The life guards did great. They were on top of keeping the safety. So that was nice but the bathrooms were so gross. And it was so dirty at the top looking down. Like man clean the tops of the stuff at least quarterly. There was one that was clogged two days in a row. And not all the guards are informed about kids riding with parents. One told us our boy could go with one of us on the tube but when we got up there the other said he could not and they had to walk all the way back down because he wasn't two the second line only the first line. As for the room where the heck is the outlets. We could only find one. In our room that was accessible. Business hours were great too. Gives plenty of time to get your water play on.

Starting with the positives, this is a well kept facility (with the exception of the co roaches all over the changing rooms). You don’t feel dirty like at a lot of water parks. Bathrooms are kept clean and food is honestly a decent price. Cons: even with life jackets and parents in arms reach, the life guards are too much. They will literally blow the whistle if your kid puts their pinky toe in the wave pool and doesn’t move further into the water, if you’re not within 2 feet. This can’t really be too much of a con, because the alternative is guards that pay zero attention, so take that with a grain of salt. Our kids are both great swimmers, but we make them wear life jackets at places like this because accidents do happen. Cons: there is no consistency between lifeguards. Some seem to be on a teenage power trip. We read the rules for every attraction before participating. At the start of our trip, we spent about 30 minute in the lazy river and then went elsewhere. At the end of our trip, we visited again. The dark haired heavy set lifeguard told us our kid couldn’t come in the lazy river in her own tube. I explained that we had been in the lazy river for the quite some time and she was allowed her own tube with both other lifeguards. She insists she can’t. Whatever, I don’t work here so I don’t make the rules. She rides with my husband. He’s in the tube, she’s on the tube and he’s holding her. Whistle blown. She must be IN the tube with him. Well, the tubes are single rider tubes and you can’t fit comfortably otherwise. Mind you, the water is less than 3 feet, there are two adults in arms reach AND she’s wearing a life jacket, although she can swim. We decide to get out. I went to the front desk to ask for clarification on the rules and was told that if she could keep her head above the tube so that she can be seen, or sit longways with her bottom in the tube, she was fine. Mind you, NONE of this is in the posted rules, furthermore, there’s not even a height restriction sign there. Anyway, I told her that’s what I thought and then explained what happened. She then said it can be at the discretion of the guard. Guess that lifeguard wanted to work as minimally as possible. Rules are rules and are intended to keep people safe. I understand that, but the lack of consistency extremely frustrating. Con #2 If your child is under 42 inches, they can’t ride a single slide. That’s probably a state regulation, understandable. However, this means they can’t do anything more than what a 0-3 yr old (free entry) can do. Kids 4+ regardless of height, are the same cost. I have a small 4 year old and could’ve lied and gotten her in as a 3 yr old, but I’m an honest person. Her not even being allowed to do the lazy was made me think “wow, I really should’ve just gotten her in for free at this point”. Waste of money if your kid is to short. Admission should be based on height, not age. Quite frankly, I’d be happy with a refund for her admission. The final pro is that they have a really good all inclusive package if you stay at least 2 nights. It is quite expensive, but I believe if you add up the inclusions and meals, you’ll find it worthwhile. We only did a day pass as we didn’t know about this place upon booking our hotel. Before purchasing our day pass tickets, we had decided to stay here on our next trip. BUT because of our experience the last hour here, we won’t be doing that. They get no more of my dollars until are current and future kids are all at least 42 inches.

Fun place to spend a day. Multiple waterslides for kids and adults. Had pizza at the wave pool area, they were wonderful. Prices were good for both the water park and the food. Will definitely come back!

I loved this place before the remodel, it was a blast. Post remodel you have jacked up prices and nothing for kids around 5 to do other than the same activities for toddlers who get in free. We paid a big price gap for 5 people to find out that there isn’t enough room for us all to sleep and the lifeguards are on such a power trip, it’s not fun. This is supposed to be family oriented and I can tell you in a nice way, the staff aren’t family friendly and aren’t the type of people most families would want around their children.
