💡Pro Tips from Reviews

  • If a hot tub is a primary reason for your visit, it is advisable to call ahead to confirm its operational status, as it has a history of being closed.
  • Consider visiting on a hot Saturday; a reviewer found it surprisingly uncrowded on such a day, suggesting it might be a good time to find more space.
  • Take advantage of the affordable admission ($6/person, kids under 2 free) for a cost-effective family outing.

Things to Consider

  • The hot tub is reportedly 'never open', indicating a consistent operational issue with its availability for visitors.

Price & Value

Excellent. Admission is $6 per person, with kids younger than 2 years old entering for free. This is consistently described as 'affordable' and 'very reasonable' for the range of family-friendly water activities and the quality of the facilities offered. No additional hidden costs were mentioned in the reviews.

Accessibility & Special Needs

  • Zero-depth entry in the kiddie pool provides excellent accessibility for strollers, wheelchairs, or individuals with mobility challenges to enter the water easily.
  • No other specific accessibility accommodations (e.g., sensory-friendly hours, staff training for specific needs) were mentioned in the reviews.

👥Crowd Levels

  • Can be surprisingly low, even on a 'very hot Saturday', during which one reviewer experienced 'no crowd' and 'plenty of room' to swim. This suggests that it might not always be as busy as other recreational venues, offering a more relaxed experience at times.

🛡️Safety Features

  • The zero-depth entry and age-appropriate slides in the kiddie area indicate design with safety in mind for young children.
  • General cleanliness and orderly facilities contribute to a safer environment.
  • No explicit details regarding lifeguard presence, specific safety protocols, or first aid stations were mentioned in the reviews.

When to Avoid

  • If a functioning hot tub is an essential part of your planned visit.
  • If you are expecting an extensive, thrill-oriented water park experience (while it has a good slide, it's not a full-scale water park).

I'm part of NSUHS that uses the Fitness Center for Cardiac Phase 3. I see Splash landings and the people doing exercises and it looks like they enjoy it. I took my Grandkids to the open swim when they were young and we all enjoyed ourselves. I've also used the walking track and it is a great place to walk and enjoy the view.

I hesitated to visit this pool with my kid given some of the previous reviews that described cold water. I was pleasantly surprised! The temperature issue must have been fixed in recent years b/c both pools were very comfortable and on the slightly warm side even. The kiddie pool is not big but has fun features. Facilities feel new and clean and well-lighted.

Affordable, clean, but most importantly lots of fun. Decent sized kiddie area, with a zero depth entry area so it's very easy for little kids to get into the water. A toddler sized water slide and sprinklers provide lots of fun for the young ones, while older kids and adults can enjoy the main pool and larger water slide. I thought the larger slide was great, as about a quarter of the way down you're in pitch black darkness until you near the slide's exit. We went on a very hot Saturday, and shockingly there was no crowd, which meant plenty of room for us and the kids to swim and splash around. Admission was very reasonable, at $6 per person, while kids younger than 2 years old are free. We had a blast, and are already looking forward to going back.

Hot tub is never open. It's not rocket science with the chemicals. The leadership and management especially the People Who oversee Splash Landings run it very poorly they should be on this every morning especially during the winter hours people count on that hot tub
