The St. Pete Pier is hands-down one of the best waterfront experiences in Florida. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, it’s the perfect spot to unwind, explore, and take in stunning views. The pier itself is beautifully designed—modern, clean, and spacious. There’s a little bit of everything: art installations, green spaces, a splash pad for kids, restaurants, fishing spots, and even a marketplace with local vendors. It’s perfect for a casual stroll, a date night, or a family outing. The views are truly breathtaking, especially at sunset. You can see sailboats gliding across the water, and the downtown skyline creates a perfect backdrop for photos. Food-wise, there’s a nice mix—from laid-back bites at the Driftwood Café to more upscale options at Teak. There’s even a tiki bar at the end of the pier if you’re in the mood for a cocktail with a view. Parking is easy (rare for tourist spots!), and the whole area feels safe and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit if you’re there

Awesome place!! Parking ridiculously difficult to find even at 9 pm! Tram ride to the very end of the pier was efficient. Every 10 minutes or so. Visited all of it at night and then again during the day. Both times were terrific! Even celebrated a birthday dinner at midnight at Cassie’s. Claudia, the waitress, was simply wonderful!! Her pic is enclosed. She even did a solo birthday song. She is patient, kind, helpful and beautiful. The other restaurants at the very end of the pier, like Tiki, range from usual to rather expensive, price wise, but still worth visiting. Live music added to the ambience. Extravagant views all over. See pics.

The St. Pete Pier is a perfect destination for a sunset walk. As the day winds down, the pier offers stunning views of the sun setting over the water, casting vibrant colors across the sky. The gentle evening breeze and peaceful atmosphere make it a great spot for relaxation, whether you're with loved ones or enjoying some quiet time alone. The design of the pier adds to the experience, with ample space to stroll and admire the scenery. Watching the sailboats and soaking in the surroundings create a memorable, serene vibe. If you're in the area, the St. Pete Pier is a must-visit, especially at sunset. It's more than a walk—it's an experience you'll want to capture and remember.

I’m incredibly grateful for the kindness and professionalism of the St. Pete Pier security team. I accidentally left my purse by a bench while taking photos with my husband. About an hour later, we returned, and thankfully it had been turned in. The first officer we spoke with—possibly named Curtis—was very helpful and already aware of the missing purse. He confirmed it was mine based on the notary stamp and other details inside, then gave us a ride on the golf cart to wait for Officer Max, who arrived shortly after with the purse. Everything was intact. A huge thank you as well to the honest person who turned it in—your integrity truly meant the world. Moments like these remind you that good people still exist. Thank you again!
