💡Pro Tips from Reviews
- →Confirm game schedules and cancellations directly with the facility, as communication can be unreliable.
- →Clarify the facility's policy on personal video recording of children's games before attending, especially for tournaments.
- →Inquire about the standards and active involvement of referees if considering joining a league.
- →Be aware that alcohol may be present in public areas of the facility.
- →Manage expectations regarding game durations in leagues, as they may be shorter than advertised.
- →Be prepared for potentially difficult interactions with certain staff members, as reported by other parents.
- →Consider bringing personal cushions if comfortable seating for spectators is a priority.
Things to Consider
- ⚠One specific staff member, Mr. James, is cited for poor customer service and a challenging communication style, negatively impacting group interactions.
- ⚠Alcohol consumption by adults is reported to occur openly throughout the facility, which some parents find inappropriate for a family-friendly environment.
- ⚠Parents are not allowed to record their own children playing during tournaments, but the facility offers to record and sell the footage, leading to frustration.
- ⚠The facility has been accused of poor communication, failing to inform teams about cancellations.
- ⚠There are instances of questionable business practices, such as reassigning pre-booked field space to other teams without notification and then demanding an additional $250 fee for an unused field for the originally scheduled team.
- ⚠Refereeing in indoor soccer leagues is described as poor, with refs sitting at midfield and not actively officiating games.
- ⚠League games are consistently shorter than the advertised 44 minutes (often less than 40 minutes) due to insufficient time between games, meaning players do not get the paid-for duration.
- ⚠Public seating areas could be improved for spectator comfort.
Price & Value
Poor value for money is suggested due to shorter game durations than advertised for leagues. There are also reports of unexpected charges, such as a $250 fee demanded for using an unused field after a scheduled game cancellation, and a sales model for recording children's games that prohibits parents from doing so themselves. The overall sentiment indicates dissatisfaction with the value received for services.

3 months agoI've had a disappointing experience with this soccer facility, especially since Mr. James started working here. Unfortunately, his customer service and communication style have made things difficult. It's hard to understand why someone with such a challenging approach is in charge of group interactions. I also want to warn others—don’t bring your kids here. People are drinking alcohol all over the area, which is completely inappropriate for a family-friendly environment. I hope management takes this into account and works on improving the experience for future players.

2 months agoVery dissapointed with facility for an indoor soccer tournament. Aparently we are not allowed to record our own kids playing, but they have no problem having the facility record our kids and selling us the footage.. This will be the last tournament my kid plays here..

2 years agoGreat place to practice indoor activities. The turf is always in good conditions and the cafeteria is always open. Perhaps the seats for public could be improved a little bit. If I would have to choose, I would break my leg in this place over any other one. It's just too fun!

a month agoMy son’s soccer team had an indoor game scheduled here this morning. Apparently the other team cancelled and we were never informed. The bigger issue is that we all showed up and they had given our field space to 2 other teams and then demanded $250 if we wanted to hold a practice on the extra field they have that was not being used. Unbelievably terrible business practices by Stars.

5 months agoDefinitely do not join an indoor soccer league here. The refs just sit at midfield and don’t make any attempt to actually ref the game. They also said the games would be 44 minutes but they’re always less than 40 minutes because they give no time between games. So you’re not even getting what you pay for.
