Stones River Greenway Trailhead

Beautiful well maintained Greenway with plenty of parking and conveniently located. Fishing available, and a huge dog park for your furry family. Great place to bring the kids for walking, jogging, or cycling. Restrooms 🚻 available. There are some pretty nasty pot holes in the road so be on the lookout when pulling in.

I love the local Greenways, and this particular stretch is great. From Khols to the Dam has great hills, scenic bridges, and riverfront views. Great for walking, jogging, dogs (dog park next to the dam). Biking is ruff with the hills (great for serious cyclists). Always pass on the left and call out "on your left." The YMCA trail is a fun scenic off shoot and leads to a historic cemetery.

Very cool place to visit... I have never seen so much water shooting out like that..it's pretty amazing. The water is somewhat clear and there were plenty of fish! The breeze kept it nice!!

Beautiful and everyone seems so friendly! Had so much fun fishing and walking my dog! Friendly and family atmosphere! I recommend to anyone who likes the outdoors or fishing or just a nice picnic with the family. Even good to just go sit by the water and read a good book and relax!

Beautiful paved trail, easy walking or biking. I start at the dog park parking lot, walk 2.5 or 3 miles & turn around to come back. You can walk miles more if you like, all along the river. Highly recommend
