a month agoMy family and I really love this place! Animals come here to heal and we get to say hi and feed them in the process- a win-win! All of the animals are so sweet and in our experience quite gentle, including the adorable new addition- Carl the Llama 🦙! Go and definitely recommend upgrading to a larger feed cup for at least one family member. Additionally you get a free upgrade for seniors and vets! Feeding the birds was also an unforgettable experience but don’t recommend it for children under 8 unless they are naturally fearless just given the talons can be a bit scratchy/uncomfortable and they come in droves to feed.

2 months agoWe had the most amazing time at Sustainable Safari in Burnsville. I was impressed at the cleanliness and how many things they had for animal enrichment. The animals looked happy and well cared for. My daughter got hold a baby kangaroo, which was a highlight. The staff is very knowledgeable and educated us about every animal. We also loved being in with the birds. Would highly recommend for kids (and adults) of all ages.

a month agoAbsolutely loved it. Staff is very knowledgeable and were able to answer all our questions. We fed the birds, goats, cows, something else (I can't remember what it's called). They have a nice variety of animals, which I don't know if they have at the Minnesota Zoo. Great opportunity for quality time with family. Purchased discount tickets on Groupon.

a month agoLots of fun with the kids! Quiet, chill space, goats to feed, lots of different animals to check out. Very interactive! We paid extra for capybara experience which was fun, but in our opinion not worth almost double the ticket price per person. Would def go back.

4 months agoIf I could give this place 100 stars I would! We took our 13 year old daughter here for a Christmas gift and we all had a blast! The animals are so welcoming and fun to interact with. It was affordable compared to other zoo experiences. The staff were SO helpful and friendly. I absolutely cannot wait to come back.
