Really great people work at the center, they have a wide rage of programs for young and old. In addition to the events that they put on, The center can be rented for events of your own. It is surrounded by a well groomed park. There statement is: Mission Oaks Recreation and Park provides unique neighborhood destinations for recreation and personal enrichment. I would say that they fulfill there mission very well.

Beware of Officer J. Mohamed (badge# 130)! Overzealous "peace officer" for the parks police. He willingly over looked the visabliy drunk (or high) unhoused gentleman who was vacillating between yelling and dozing on the bench mere feet away from the splash park (were my young childern happened to be playing), and the group of teens smoking weed in the tennis court as he was far to busy writing a minor fix-it ticket for my car. This is the sort of predatory ticketing that gives municipalities "black-eyes" and leaves park-goers with a bad taste. Officer Mohamed should be ashamed of himsef, and ought to propperly walk his beat in lieu of trolling the parking lot for ($25.00) low hanging fruit.

Used to be a peaceful park. Now you can see people consuming alcohol and gambling

Always good to have a community center in your neighborhood. Friendly people who will help you with some classes like yoga. The center is in the middle of a park and playground. Plenty of parking and places to eat at the picnic benches.

This is a nicely maintained park, and the facility has 2 rooms that can be reserved for Community gatherings. This is also the home of the Sacramento Sheriff's Community Impact Program (SCIP).
