2 months agoGreat spot for people that have been to the typical places and need a new place to see in sf

a year agoSpectacular view of ocean, Golden Gate Bridge, and downtown. It’s about 40 minutes walking from Golden Gate Park (8th Ave entrance from Fulton street. It has less tourists and much quieter than twin peaks. But offers almost same views. Of course, you can go to twin peaks from here. Just take about another 20 minutes.

8 months agoThe views of the city and the Golden Gate Bridge are stunning, especially at sunset. It's a peaceful spot away from the crowds, perfect for a quick hike or just relaxing and enjoying the scenery

a year agoHard to beat in terms of panoramic view of the city that isn't overly crowded like some other SF city hills. Only downside is that the wooden stairs leading up from Twin Peaks Blvd. are a bit rickety and some steps are rotting to the point where you need to be very careful, especially on the way down. Stairs on the north side leading to Belgrave Ave. are in much better shape. On a sunny day the view is pretty amazing, especially of the Golden Gate bridge, Marin headlands, downtown SF skyline, and the SF Bay and Port of Oakland.

10 months agovery nice vantage point to look out over the city and surrounding area. breezy and cool at the top. a nice place to sit and enjoy the scenery. note: I rode a bike to get here. not sure if there's any car parking, since I didn't look for it.
