a year agoThis has got to be one of my favorite lunch parks I have found so far! It's not very big, but what it doesn't have in size it makes up for in natural noise and a feeling of isolation in nature if you face the right direction. I took lunch in the creek connected to the park by a waterway. The running water and little waterfalls pretty much removed all the car noise. If you aren't out for a lunch walking the creek bed is a fun little jaunt, but there isn't much here other than historical marks about the Battle of Peachtree Creek. The park is off the beltline and isn't a bad stop for a break on a bike or jog or a quick detour when on a walk. The Beltline running adjacent/through it really makes for a nice bit of non-car dependent connectivity. Park also has a small parking lot for someone on a work lunch break who has to drive a vehicle. See my pictures for an idea of the park, parking, and places to sit for a lunch.

2 months agoGood place for a walk with kids (there are two playgrounds), with a stroller, a long trail for runners with a beautiful view at the golf course. Minus - no restrooms on the path and what's important - near playgrounds. It seems Atlanta doesn't care about it much.

a year agoGood trail for walking and biking. Lots of bridges and great view of the golf course. Definitely recommended to anyone. Great place to start would be the Tanyard Creek Parking which has almost 10 cars to park. The bike trail was nearly 3 miles long with good elevation and decend for casual fun.

4 months agoLove this park! Great place to ride bikes on the belt line, 2 Great playgrounds along the way. We love going here. No public bathrooms, but not a big deal as long as you plan accordingly!

2 months agoThis is a very nice park in the middle of the neighborhood. When the weather is nice, you can see several teams of photographers taking family photos along the stream. Parking could be tough.
