a week agoI want to copy/paste this playground into my neighborhood. It’s SO lovely. The playgrounds has all levels of play to challenge from 0-6. Surface is rubber, and forgiving on feet. It’s large, has sun shades and ADA equipment. My son is 4 and was able to challenge himself climbing, swinging, spinning and sliding all over the playground. It’s zoned nicely, which gives parents and kids plenty of room to play. We visited on a Friday, so I’m not sure if it gets more crowded on weekdays. May also be worth mentioning the view of the bay, the adjacency of other nearby playgrounds and grass and the ocean breeze also added to this lovely end of the park (If you’re local, you probably already know all of that!). We had a lot of fun watching the kite surfers.

7 months agoDecided to stop by while heading back to Orange County this past Sunday evening. Parking wasn't bad, I was able to find a spot right away. There was a decent amount of people chilling on the grass enjoying the scenery and others running on the path. Definitely a good place to relax before getting back on the road.

a year agoThe best. My kids said "I loved it". They have swings, very large playground areas with mirror levels. Lots of musical items in the playground. They have lay-down swings. Best of all, they have a zip line. One with a seat and another with a rope. Kids were lining up to take turns. They have multiple spin areas. Telescopes on playground and you can see fiesta Island. Plenty of tables for large parties/picnics. Trees are nearby to provide shade for those not on the playground. Always a great spot, next to the bay and green grass. What else can you ask for. It's the gem of San Diego.

a year agoIt's a nice playground as far as the equipment goes, but the location is bonkers. Right next to another equally nice playground and directly adjacent to the freeway. Even 50 or 100 ft further away would have made a difference. Major city parks and rec planning fail.
