The city does the best they can to keep this area safe and clean for the little ones to have a place to run around and have some fun but it's hard to imagine ever feeling safe having your kids anywhere near any part of this area of San Francisco

I'm supportive of kids having fun, but their staff are constant yelling and music is blaring, esp on Fridays when the sound echos all around the neighbourhood.

Playground entrance is through the rec center - a good idea in a somewhat sketchy neighborhood. The playground has a large paved area for ball sports, and a play structure over a rubber base. The structure isn't terrible, but the yellow plastic needs a good scrubbing, and the wood is broken is a number of areas.
