The Tennessee Agricultural Museum is a hidden gem that offers a fascinating look into the state’s farming history. With a great collection of antique farm equipment, tools, and exhibits on rural life, it’s an interesting stop for history buffs and families alike. The outdoor area features historic cabins and walking trails, adding to the charm. It’s a smaller museum, but it’s well-maintained and educational, making it a great place to learn about Tennessee’s agricultural roots. Best of all, admission is free! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)

We visited the Tennessee Agricultural Museum as part of a school field trip last month. It is a quaint and small museum, containing artifacts related to farm life in Tennessee before electricity. It includes two levels of exhibits. It also has a heirloom garden, historic cabins and school house. We had the opportunity to walk around these buildings. The children enjoyed interacting with the artifacts inside the cabins more than anything else. They also found interesting the equipment and process to make corn flour. The museum itself may feel boring to some, and most of the items on display had no labels or descriptions. However, I enjoyed my time there. It felt like visiting an antique shop filled with interesting items from the past. The staff we interacted with were courteous and knowledgeable. Ms. Kristen Ouellette was the best of them all. She recommended coming back to hike the Ellington Agricultural Center Trails. We may return to enjoy the fall foliage one of these days. This museum is free and it opens Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm. They also have special activities throughout the year. 😘🚜🌾

Wonderful place filled with fascinating history and artifacts from a different time. The cabins are rustic and unique and the grounds are absolutely beautiful especially in the fall. Truly such a wonderful place and the staff is so knowledgeable and informative. Highly recommend a stop if history of agriculture interests you or even history overall.
