💡Pro Tips from Reviews
- →**Restroom Planning**: Be prepared for extremely dirty, unmarked, and foul-smelling restrooms; consider using facilities elsewhere before visiting or bringing personal hygiene supplies.
- →**Safety Awareness**: Exercise heightened awareness and caution due to a widely publicized, negative police incident that impacted a visitor's sense of safety.
- →**Evening Visits**: Consider visiting in the late afternoon or evening to enjoy the beautiful, late sunsets.
- →**Drone Activity**: Be aware that drone racing may occur, which could involve noise or aerial activity in certain areas of the park.
Things to Consider
- ⚠A serious safety concern was reported regarding police actions involving an individual being pulled over, physically assaulted, arrested, and having their vehicle towed for not providing ID when no law was perceived to be broken. This incident is reportedly 'blowing up all over YouTube and TikTok', leading to a reviewer feeling unsafe.
- ⚠The park's restrooms are severely problematic: they are not marked for men's or women's use, were described as 'gross and dirty', and 'smelled so bad' that a reviewer refused to use them.
- ⚠The park is noted for 'intermediate drone racing/freestyle' activities, which could be a noise concern or a potential safety concern if drone flight paths intersect with active play areas, though no incidents were reported.
Price & Value
No explicit pricing is mentioned for entry to Terrace View Park, suggesting it is a free public park. The cost of using the adjacent pool is not specified. While the park offers high value through its diverse and well-maintained amenities, this value is significantly undermined by severe concerns regarding restroom hygiene and perceived safety.
♿Accessibility & Special Needs
- •No specific accessibility accommodations (e.g., wheelchair access, sensory-friendly features) are mentioned in the reviews.
🍎Food & Drink Policy
- •No information regarding outside food or drink policy is mentioned in the reviews.
🚗Parking Info
- •No explicit details on parking availability, cost, or ease are provided. One review implies that roadside parking or 'pulling over' to take a break from a long drive is possible, but this specific instance led to a negative police encounter.
👥Crowd Levels
- •No specific information regarding crowd levels or peak times is mentioned. The presence of a 'huge field' suggests ample space to accommodate visitors without feeling overly crowded.
🛡️Safety Features
- •Playground equipment is new, implying good condition and reduced risk of mechanical failure.
- •**Major Safety Concern**: A highly negative and publicized police incident at the park has raised significant concerns about the general safety and environment of the area. This directly impacts visitor comfort and security.
- •The presence of drone racing could pose an indirect safety concern if not properly managed or separated from children's play areas, though no incidents were reported.
⏰When to Avoid
- • If clean, well-maintained, and properly marked restrooms are a high priority for your family, especially with young children.
- • If you have significant concerns about public safety or interactions with law enforcement, given the highly negative and publicized incident mentioned.
- • If you are sensitive to drone noise or prefer play environments completely free of drone activity.

3 years agoSuch a fun park! Park is clean and has a huge field with a baseball diamond and lots of room to run around! This park also has a lot of smaller equipment for younger children (my son is 1 1/2) and he loves it! If your kids are older they also have a little rock climbing wall and a rope wall to climb on with a slide. Pool next to the park too! This park really just has everything for all age groups. Love this place! (Photo is not mine and is courtesy of the parks website)

7 months agoThe Park looks Beautiful! However the Police Actions have caused me too give it a 3 Star. I don't feel safe. It's impossible to feel safe when you pull over to take a break from a long drive and the cops pull up pull you out beat your ass and then take you to jail and tow your vehicle. Just because you wouldn't ID because you haven't broken the law This should have been a you can't park here move situation, but the cop decided to turn it into an incident. Have a nice day. Also the incident is blowing up all over YouTube and TikTok. Doesn't exactly paint this area and the best light, now does it?

4 years agoIt was a beautiful day to be out, the park itself is very nice, I've been going there since I was a kid. My review is about the restrooms, 1. They aren't marked for men's or women's. 2. They were so gross and dirty that was afraid to use it. 3. They smelled so bad I refused to use it.
