My six year old granddaughter and nine year old niece had a ball! We always do crafts at home, so being able to do this in this setting was awesome. The Art Project is the perfect place for allowing children to use their minds to create their very own "Masterpieces."

Edited to Add: Katherine, the owner, reached out via phone, which I greatly appreciate. She was very empathetic to how we felt the party went and apologized for our experience. We discussed our expectations and communication from both sides, and she assured me she would relay the information to her team. Additionally, she offered a 10% refund for our party and invited our son to return for a more enjoyable experience which we have accepted. If you choose to book the party, make sure to take the time to discuss the types of crafts and levels you're interested in, and when you get there, don't hesitate to share what you'd like assistance with so everyone knows what to expect. ___________________________________________________________ Please save your money - Don't book the party. Our son is turning 4 and this was the first party we have held outside of our home. We were very excited, as I had stumbled upon this business and my son LOVES doing crafts. I thought it would be the perfect place, and I was excited to sit back and enjoy the party with my children and not have to worry about anything. I was told we could arrive 30 minutes prior to the start time to setup. We arrived about 10 minutes prior, and they were cleaning up from the previous party. I was not greeted when we arrived, so I greeted them and asked where to put our belongings. I was told they would clean off the countertop, and that I could use a folding table. One member of staff helped me unfold it. There was no structure to the party. No member of staff formally introduced themselves, and no one went over any timeline/plan. After awkwardly waiting around, a member of staff told me "they can go over there." No one helped the children with putting on aprons, explained any of the crafts or made effort to assist the children. The only assistance with the crafts was when they swapped out the paper on the easels. I was incredibly disappointed in the crafts they had set out, as they were not creative and seemed like there was very little effort given - for example, they had printed out a drawing of an empty jar. The example they provided showed they had drawn bugs in the jar with markers. Any child can do that at home. Another was a tray of a few different colored globs of paint with plastic bugs. You picked up the bugs to make prints on paper. There was a tray with kinetic sand that had hidden bugs and jewels. Okay, great for the babies to dig out, but I wouldn't call it a craft. There was one real craft, which we appreciated - modeling dough rolled into balls, pipe cleaners, googly eyes, and a paper leaf you colored and put together to make a caterpillar. Unfortunately, there were not enough supplies for each child to make a caterpillar. There were about 2 seats set up for each craft. I thought each child would complete every craft together, as a group, instructed by a member of staff. This was not the case and we were left to fend for ourselves. At one point many of the children's hands were covered in paint. I did not see any wipes or paper towels and went to ask for them. They pointed to a roll on the wall and told me where the sink was. Unfortunately, the bottle of soap was empty, and I had to inform them of this. During the craft time, a member of staff told me they would clean up at 2pm for the cake, but they did not help cut or serve the cake. I had previously inquired about the option to purchase Mempops popsicles during the confirmation call, but they were not offered. Having professionally run birthday parties for a family entertainment business for many years, I was incredibly disappointed in the communication and execution. I couldn't bring myself to leave a tip and that is basically a cardinal sin in my former party captain's heart. I honestly feel like I took my $440 and just set it on fire. Buy the craft kits from Michaels and have a picnic in the park - you'll be much happier.

We love the Art Project! Are members and try to go once a month. It’s a great spot for kids to enjoy all kids of art, exploration and sensory items too. Highly recommend!

Fun place but a little expensive for what we got this time. They rotate crafts and my kid had fun, but I didn't think the Earth Day Crafts were very impressive

Took my Functional Skills class. The students enjoyed it. I tried my hand at painting. It was fun and another tool for destressing.
