The Belmont Goats

The Belmont Goat herd is a Portland icon to me. I've been visiting and following them since the lived in the "goat blocks". I am so happy that I met these goats. They changed my life for the better. They are the sweetest herd and the people who adore them are as well. I highly recommend visiting them in UP neighborhood on the weekends.

Beautiful grounds with very affectionate, happy and healthy goats. There were some helpful volunteers on site during our visit who provided the names and shared personality details of the goats. This is a great place for anyone who loves animals.

Cute, free day activity for the whole family! Lots of goats that are just roaming around! You can walk up to them or sit down and have them come to you! Specific weekend hours so check instagram if the weather looks bad.

I've loved the herd since first meeting them at their original location, and I will never cease loving these adorable Bovidae.
