The Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary

I really enjoyed my visit to this sanctuary. The enclosures are beautifully equipped nice size and the staff really know their stuff. There was an older woman just walking around with a volunteer t-shirt on giving us all kinds of information about the animals It was a wonderful time. I was able to capture some great videos I hope you're able to take the time to watch and go visit. All the money from visitors goes to helping the sanctuary continue to run and supply for the animals that are there. I will be returning with my husband next time. I'd also like to add it as absolutely wheelchair friendly I went by myself an electric wheelchair and all was well. Lots of good vibes and kids enjoying animals they would never otherwise be able to see. Thank you thank you thank you for providing such a wonderful place for these animals that came from such horrible conditions. This is definitely a heartfelt mission for these folks and I would support them 100%.

On my trip to Jacksonville last week this was easily one of the most enjoyable activities. Nice to see these immense but still Lil' Kitties. It is a self guided tour but there were several volunteers around who were more than happy to inform us about the cats an their histories. Glad to see such a nice place for these amazing creatures.

Went to the night feeding and it was a little pricey, but I know it goes to a good cause. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone living in Jacksonville or visiting. Never seen so many tigers. From a production experience not as good of an experience as the Jacksonville Zoo, but all the volunteers are passionate about their work and the facilities exceeded my expectations.

Greetings from DeFuniak Springs – A Must-Visit! We made it back home safely – thank you for the incredible experience at Catty Shack Ranch! Our 3-year-old was thrilled to see tigers, lions, leopards, bobcats, and even a bear up close. He hasn’t stopped talking about it and is already excited to play with his ducks and new tiger set tomorrow. This place is a must for families – and honestly, for everyone. We had a wonderful experience! We will definitely be returning in the future. We really enjoyed our self tour and if we had any questions they were very helpful. All the animals look happy and healthy. They have restrooms throughout and snack cart and also complementary sun screen and bug spay. The staff was friendly, informative, and professional. We got there late and they still let us in. We took lots of pictures. Can't wait to go back.
