5 months agoIf you're at all interested in natural history, zoology, entomology, etc, and you're looking to spend some time looking at specimens, put this place on your list of places to visit. I had hoped to check it out when we first moved up to PVD, but never got a chance. We were walking around with a friend that was visiting and realized they were open and walked in unplanned. I'll def. need to go back when I have some time.

3 years agoIncredibly helpful staff and very cool stuff here! Had to slide in with a student as despite the museum being public I’m not sure the public have full access in? Was really a wonderful resource!

6 years agoCool and unique "library" of natural artifacts to inspire art and design students at RISD. A resource for patterns and designs from nature that can be abstracted into patterns, art and products.
