If you're at all interested in natural history, zoology, entomology, etc, and you're looking to spend some time looking at specimens, put this place on your list of places to visit. I had hoped to check it out when we first moved up to PVD, but never got a chance. We were walking around with a friend that was visiting and realized they were open and walked in unplanned. I'll def. need to go back when I have some time.

Incredibly helpful staff and very cool stuff here! Had to slide in with a student as despite the museum being public I’m not sure the public have full access in? Was really a wonderful resource!

Cool and unique "library" of natural artifacts to inspire art and design students at RISD. A resource for patterns and designs from nature that can be abstracted into patterns, art and products.
