4 months agoFun for any age. This is a great experience for families. Very interactive. They have lab experiments for the kids, which costs $6.00. We did the DNA and then the cheek cells experiments, and it took about 45 mins to complete. It was awesome to see the kids swab their cheeks and then make a slide with the cheek cells. To finish off, they put their slide under a microscope and could see the cells from their cheeks. It also displayed the cells on a screen so your group could see. We had a blast and would go again!!

a month agoInteresting place. Free on Thursdays as of this writing. It takes the time to focus on various body parts and educate the audience on them. We enjoyed the temporary exhibits. It is a short museum so you don’t need to plan a whole afternoon. Pro tip: plan a visit in conjunction with the children’s museum.

2 months agoWhat an awesome place for kids to learn more about the human body! I can’t believe I’ve been in Houston all this time and never been before. It’s a must take for inquisitive kids ages 3+ We went on a school field trip and had a great time - you can easily spend 2 hours here and won’t get bored!

2 months agoI had an amazing time at the Health Museum! The musical blackboard was definitely my favorite, and experiencing the heart simulation of a heart attack was such a fascinating experience.
