2 months agoAwesome places to hike and have fun. I've hiked all over the united states and the best maintained trails are in my own back yard. I am so proud to have a park of this quality at my disposal. Clean restrooms are a plus. Good job guys, keep it up.

3 weeks agoBeautiful park but you must be a "member" to use the dog park. RIDICULOUS!!! We came here from out of town to let our dogs get some exercise and see the beautiful scenery. As someone who lived in Northern Virginia before moving to Kentucky, I find this "membership" to get into a dog park in a public park to be absurd. Come on Kentucky, really!

3 years agoWhat a beautiful park! There are great open spaces, access to trails and natural areas, and a dog park. There are parking lots spaced throughout, making it convenient to get in and get to relaxing quickly. There is a HUGE open lawn with a trail around it. It's perfect for just about anything from laying out, playing catch, flying kites, having a picnic, and so much more. There's sooooooo much room. If you like having wife open spaces and access to some other park amenities, the Parklands is perfect.

4 years agoHuge, beautiful park with miles of paved and unpaved trails. Great place for social distancing with numerous creek access points, bike riding, walking, jogging, canoeing/kayacking, fishing ... Take your fur baby for a walk then have a picnic!

a year agoWhile Beckley Creek and Pope Lick Parks are beautiful, Turkey Run Park and especially Broad Run arem more of what many of us go to a park for. Peace and tranquility. They all have great hiking and biking trails but those two are the best. BC and BR both have spraygrounds and playgrounds so that is sure to please the little visitors. They all open at sunrise and close at sundown. The Parklands website is a fountain of info on what they have to offer. As well as the few rules they have.
