The Play Retreat

We love the new play cafe! There are activities for all ages and my daughter has such a fun time. The space is very clean, organized and full of engaging play. Another bonus is the workshops they offer! We did a fall pumpkin craft workshop, very creative !

Hosted my son’s 4th birthday party at The Play Retreat! This was also our first time at the play center, and it was entertaining for a bunch of 4 year olds and some older siblings. Michelle was so helpful and accommodating! The process was stress free and it was so nice to have set up and clean up provided.

The concept of a play cafe will always be near and dear to my heart. Parenting little ones can be lonely so having a space to go to is such a blessing especially in a colder climate. The space aesthetically since the new ownership is wonderful. Small tweaks were made and many new toys added that keeps the kids entertained for a long time. I’ve been here on two different visits and both have been freezing. It is 64 degrees with no music and 0 coffee. The front desk staff on my first visit was very nice but on a different day she barely greeted us and was very cold. The staff should be communicative and also resetting the play space a couple times as the day drags on. For the price, you’d expect a bit more attention to detail (temp, coffee, music, cleaning play area up etc) Overall I’d recommend to a friend but I’d hope they make the space more inviting with staff, temperature and coffee etc 🤷🏻‍♀️

I wanted to host my son’s birthday here but the website does not allow you to view available dates. They want you to pay the 50% deposit to host a birthday unknowing if the date is available. I of course emailed them to see if the date was available and I did not hear back from them. I called them 3 days after my email, the worker said she would call her boss and leave a message with my details and question. That was two days ago. Still no response. It’s unprofessional and I am bummed out that my son won’t be able to have his birthday here as it looked like a fun place. Edit: it has now been 8 days and still no one has reached out.

Great spot to get toddler energy out! Will be back in the future!
