The Sensory Zone

We blew through two hours here! Lots of activities to keep a 5 year old busy. He really enjoyed experiencing a lot of toys that were new to him. I love that they provide adaptive equipment so that all kids can have fun. This is such a great place for kids of all abilities to explore. Every city needs one of these!

Lots of big rooms to run around in, but danger lurks at every corner, and I am not sure how this is okay given the clientele is children. Examples of some of the danger: big hole in the corner of the entrance to the trampoline (with about a 3ft drop), open outlets all around, found a wire hanging near the wall climbing area, the toddler zone was a complete mess with a lot of small toys which could be a choking hazard, there was a gate for the main play area but no gate for the steep stairs going down to the toddler zone, there were toddler bikes which were also near those staircases which a kid could easily bike down to an unfortunate drop…etc. This place has a lot of potential but it just does not live up to the hype. Not sure the last time the floors were given a good mopping or the windows a nice wipedown. There was at least 4 people with name tags (volunteers or employees—unsure) standing around chatting and only one of them actually doing any sweeping/walking around.

My kids love Keep Calm Sensory Zone. Lots of fun AND relaxing at the same time. We even brought home some sensory relaxation tools after getting to test them out there. I highly recommend and appreciate Keep Calm Sensory Zone! We'll be back and buying a punch card.

I recently had a wonderful visit to Sensory Zone. The care I received from Courtney was exceptional. They listened attentively to my concerns and provided personalized treatment that yielded positive results. The entire team at the Sensory Zone displayed a high level of professionalism and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. I highly endorse Sid and Natalie for their excellent service and expertise. There is an area to accommodate all needs and the gift shop is such fun! Safe, secure and supported is how I left feeling. There are scholarships available, too! Check this place out!

Loved their up to date measures in catching up with ever changing minds of kids through the introduction of new activities, toys and tools. Spicing things up! Update 06 June 2024: Still fun and as usual they added Summer Day Camp for kids..
