a week agoThe Sofia has some fantastic Event Spaces available for rent! As a long time patron, I just held an event in Gallery A for the first time, and I loved the experience! The room has great natural light and a patio deck attached as well! Tables, chairs, a sound system, and bar options are all available for rent, and more! The staff is beyond helpful with planning and set up. Check out their website for all the available rentable spaces. The price was super reasonable, especially for the great location! I definitely recommend using the Sofia for your next event.

2 months agoMy new favorite local theater! We are subscribers and love every production over the past year and excited about the 2025 season! Classy, affordable, great acting, great seats, full bar (with real glasses) special events and freebies to subscribers. There is a family series and music venues as well. Two restaurants next door, make it a wonderful day or evening experience you don't want to miss!

2 months agoState-of-the-art theatre building, 3 stages/ auditoriums, performances run afternoons & nightly, year 'round, quality live entertainment for the whole family. Live stage plays, children's theater, also musical artists of all genres 🎭 🎶🎼🎵💎👑 We highly recommend The Sofia. Good refreshment bar on main floor, and the new Burch bar upstairs. 🥂🍷🍺🍹

4 months agoB Street theater brings in an incredibly talented array of musicians. I love how great bands sound on stage, and truly love the first come first served open seating. The seats are comfortable and even have a cup holder ! So grab a beer, wine or signature cocktail and sit back and relax!

2 months agoFirst time to visit the Sofia. We came to see In a Nutshell (a Moth-centric story telling event). It was raining out when we arrived and we were glad to get into the parking garage which is part of the same block. But, you do have to exit the garage (as far as I know) to get to the front door of the theater. Very nice and helpful staff checked us in. It was general seating and we actually landed a couple really great seats. The theater is quite cozy, the vibe is relaxed, and there is not a bad seat in the house. They do serve cocktails and other drinks in the lobby which you can take to your seat as well. I highly recommend going to one or more of the In a Nutshell events. They have excellent story tellers and it is just an all around good evening to see and hear the experiences of others lives.
