Theater Of Lights

This is the third year in a row that I’ve watched the Christmas show in Old Sacramento’s downtown! The show is amazing and incredibly entertaining. They usually put on multiple performances, and I highly recommend checking it out—especially if you have kids!

It was fun to go there on Christmas eve for my first time. Seeing what it was like. It was decorated with Christmas lights on front street all buildings both sides. There had a Christmas story lights theme and people acting out a Christmas story and a little history of old town and a big Christmas tree. Loved it.

An incredible production by artists from a local theater. It's quick yet highly enjoyable for everyone. I'd suggest taking public transit or parking on the other side of the freeway, Old Sac can quickly turn into a traffic nightmare.

The show was beautiful when I saw it. When me and my dad finished having a walk in downtown we decided to eat fish and chips in Old Sacramento, while we were eating I noticed lights. Then I realized it was a light show, It was very colorful and cheerful! It gave me Christmas cheer!

This is a great event! Naturally, it can get a little crowded in Old Sacramento. And ofcoarse, because the show is held in evenings in December, it can get pretty cold. These things considered, Theatre of Lights is still one of my favorite things to do with my children during the Christmas season!
