a month agoThis is a hidden gem in the cities. Not only are the plays fantastic but they are incredibly affordable. Many times they offer a tasty signature mocktail that corresponds to the play they are showing and there are so many restaurants nearby so it's an easy date/ girl's night! They also have showings on Sundays at 2 pm if you prefer to be home early.

a year agoGreat venue, makes the plays very immediate & present. Actors are fascinating, very good (especially considering they are all working purely for the love of theater and not, say, money). Very community-oriented programming. Concessions are limited but decent.

2 months agoNot a bad seat in the house. And they're so accomdating. Held my leftovers in the back room for me. Park in the 7 corners ramp and then scan the qr code hanging on their door. Waaay cheaper. But how was the play, you ask? Absolutely amazing. Not much for a set, but not needed. Nope. The acting is so brilliant. Funny. Touching. Heartbreaking. Put me through all the emotions. We saw Legacy of Light tonight and will now be regulars for life. Job well done for sure!

8 months ago"Juliet & Juliet" was my first Minnesota Fringe event, as well as my first experience being in Theatre in the Round. It was amazing! Theatre in the Round was intimate and delightful, I love how every seat offered clear views and audio. The performance felt magical. I will definitely be back!

2 years agoThis is a wonderful intimate Theatre celebrating its 71st year! I haven't been to a performance here in 25+ years. I recall my parents attending performances here with friends back in the 1970s. A near-full house attending Agatha Christie "Who done it" Mysteries in December and "The Book Club [Play]" by Karen Zacarius. Happy to have rediscoverer Theatre in the Round. Fun Evenings!
