Very interesting park to visit to learn more about the valleys pioneers and their ways to live in the 1800's and 1900's. It's about 15min from SLC downtown, there where plenty of parking spots on-site and the entrance fee for the heritage park was $22. There are some food options too, like hot dogs, burgers, grilled cheese, donuts and ice cream. It is totally family friendly and you can easily spend 3-5 hours there if you take your time.

Amazing! It’s like a small village with houses from the 19th century and you can go inside and talk to the people who act like they live/work there. There’s a little farm with pony and horse riding, goats and rabbits. There is also a snack bar and donut shop and gift shop. It tells the story of pioneers of Salt Lake Valley. 22 dollars for an adult, half for children.

We always enjoy This Is the Place Heritage Park. The history, the beautiful view of Salt Lake Valley, and the staff that bring the history alive. Seeing the village all lit up at night for the Candleligjt Christmas was so different than our regular daytime visits. My favorite activities included the live nativity! The animals were asleep, so we had to be extra quiet and that made the Holy Family even more special! Learning a polka at the school had a wonderful sense of community! There were even free cookies and wassail to taste! And several other hands-on activities and hot cocoa, Brigham's mini donuts and other food to buy! That was a lovely new Christmas activity that I look forward to doing again!

Was in from out of town for the weekend, first time in SLC, Came for the scenic views and gift shop. We had the place to ourselves was very peaceful. I like the gift shop, wide range of gift to bring back home. From native American made ointments and handmade soaps to salt lake city magnets and lucky 3 legged little pig. it was a great one stop shop for souvenirs

My first time trying the Edgar Allen Poe experience was this year in Salt Lake City, Utah. I surprised my boyfriend with tickets and we were both so impressed with the show and the drinks. My boyfriend is sober and they had mocktail versions of the cocktails that he got to enjoy alongside me. Good acting and storytelling. The seats are first come first serve. I would suggest arriving early if you wanna sit up front… we had seats right in front of the stage, second row. The show is usually sold out and I don’t think I would’ve enjoyed it as much from the back of the room. If you are a fan of mystery, theater, or cocktails this is a 20 out of 10 highly recommend!!
